The Toyota MR2 Spyder is The 2007 version of the Toyota MR2. Production of the Toyota MR2 started back in 1984 and since that time Toyota has three different design series. The Toyota MR2 is a two seater sports car. The concept of the design of the MR2 began back in 1976 when Toyota wanted to produce a car that was fun to drive but didn’t burn a lot of gas. The Toyota MR2 came equipped with a 1.6 Liter 115 HP four cylinder engine or a 145 HP supercharged version. Despite its low horsepower, the MR2 still managed to do 0 to 60 MPH in about 6 seconds. That’s not to bad for an economic lower priced sports car. The MR2’s are affordable and fun to drive.
